Halloween Costume Ideas

This Halloween we are pretty sure that there will be many Twilight Fans who will be dressing up like like their favorite character from the popular Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer. If you are looking into dressing up as Miss Bella Swan, then you have come to the right place!

For Halloween 2010 there are two different dresses that girls have available to wear. The first is the pretty blue Dress that Bella wore at the Prom in the First Twilight Movie.

The second Dress of course was the green dress that Bella wore at her 18th Birthday Party in the Second Movie, New Moon.

You can find similar dresses to the ones on top at your local department store or on eBay for less than $100! It doesn't matter which dress you pick, add a Bella Wig and some Twilight Jewelry Accessories and you will be good to go. Now all you need is someone to dress up like Edward or Jacob ;)

Tell us, who will you be dressing up as this Halloween?

The Twilight Saga Continues ....

Like many of you, we cannot WAIT to see the third installment in the Twilight series, Eclipse. For those of you who might have been living under a rock (we kid, we kid), here is a brief description on the movie: "As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death." - Summit Entertainment. Because we love you, here is the latest clip from Eclipse:

Weekend Guide

Looking for something to do this weekend with the BFF? Well don't worry, we've got you covered. Every Thursday, we'll be supplying you with an overload of ideas on what you, the BFF, and anyone else can do to ensure that your weekend isn't a total dud.

Seeing as New Moon is coming out, my friends and I got on the topic about all the books we read and even all the book hype we joined in on, including Twilight. It got me thinking ... why not start a book club? Don't yawn! With a book club, you can choose any type of books that you and your friends love to read, whether it be mystery, drama, etc. Following an article from Teenreads.com, here are some nifty tips on how to get your book club started:

  • contact all of your pals - the easiest way to get a book club started is by contacting all of your friends or fam (such as cousins) who enjoy reading. You can also post up handmade posters on your school's or library's local bulletin board.
  • make sure the people who contact are really dedicated to reading and that your group consists of 8 - 12 members. You don't want a group too big because discussion will be hard but you also want a good amount so if some members don't show up, you'll still have a good sized group.
  • Remember: You're hear to share your thoughts and opinions on the book. NOT TO GOSSIP! (you can save that for after the meeting)
  • Once you've got your club going, you might want to set some ground rules to keep things running smoothly. It might be a good idea to appoint a secretary who keeps track of your book lists (both what you've read and what you plan to read) and sends out reminders about your meetings.
It might sound like hard work, but your book club will be a lot of fun once set and it's something you can take part in all year around, rain or shine.
