Camilla Supports the Troops!

Joining fellow entertainers, America Ferrara and Jason Derulo, actress Camilla Belle is the latest famous fan of the “One 4 You, One 4 Me” bracelets, which give civilians a way to connect with U.S. troops. “I have pride for my country,” says the star in a PSA video in support of the BFF bracelets, a joint initiative by the American Freedom Foundation (AFF) and BFF Entertainment. Donning one of the minimalist leather bands, Belle explains, “It’s a symbol of my support for friends of the military serving our country.” Each of the bands comes engraved with a unique number, and when you register a specific bracelet, its matching pair is sent to an active military serviceman overseas, who you can connect with through the AFF’s online community. Get the Look: Camilla Belle!

We’ve seen her grace the red carpet in gowns we can only dream of owning, drooled over her Nylon and Teen Vogue spreads, ticked through her “street style” galleries on celeb-gossip sites, and admit it, we all envied her Jonas Brother attachment (RIP JoeMilla!)… We just have to give it to her- Camilla Belle has some pretty fantastic taste! Be it a signature nude lip or her chic, yet organic sensibility, she always seems just a few steps ahead of the rest of us.  

Well, the gang here at BFF thinks imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so to show how much we love her, we’re bringing you two Camilla looks to admire and replicate…

Camilla’s asymmetrical, kelly-green, cocktail dress is paired with silver pumps, a printed clutch and tons of accessories- it’s simple and demure with just a hint of flirtation.

Although the Mitzy dress is a different shade from the original, the cut, the shape and the design is so close we almost couldn’t believe our eyes! We added texture with a stitched pump and did double duty with our faux, snakeskin wristlet by pulling in some much needed color. Lastly, taking Camilla’s lead, we threw out the rule book on separating our metallics and pulled the look together with silver and gold jewelry accents. And we did it all for just $178!

Look two: Take the glam down a few notches with this casual, day-in-the park-wear. Seen at this year’s Coachella music festival, Camilla is rocking a mono-tonal color palette that screams “relaxed, summer cool”.  Just nix a few accessories and switch the boots for a pair of Huarache heels and PRESTO! you’re off to a lunch-date with the girls. It’s easy, it’s versatile and most importantly, it’s comfortably-chic.

We may have strayed from Camilla’s floral print but this tribal frock is short, sweet and just as summery. Paired with Forever21’s crochet sweater and drawstring tote and it’s almost a spot on reproduction. Though we love Ms. Belle’s Frye boots, they’re just a tad too much for our bank. But no worries- our best find of the day was Rocketdog’s faux leather, motorcycle boots! For a quarter of the cost we got the same weight, feel and texture, all without sparing an inch for style! To finish, we topped it off with understated yet eccentric accessories and jewelry finds! The total cost for this look was $199.

The Russian tennis champ and The 10,00 B.C. star have turned into BFFs as of late. You can catch these two gal pals attending couture fashion shows and industry events together. They even decided to travel to Europe with one another! Both Maria and Camilla turned 21, and Maria can be quoted saying, "I have had to deal with a lot of ups and downs in my life, on and off the court. But the number one thing is not to be disappointed by that, or by losses, or by negative things, things here and there. You have to find a way to keep your head even though it’s pretty tough.” And that is why she has her BFF Camilla to help keep her head on straight.
