Fashion Fridays!

Today's Fashion Friday is all about the FUG.

FUG? What's fug?

"Fug" comes from "fugly", which usually means fantastically ugly.

And who better to bring us the FUG than the dashing ladies from goFUGyourself.

Check out what they wrote for today's blog and be sure to check out their website for some more celebrity fugness! :

They say that people start to look like their dogs, and that long-

term partners begin to resemble each other; ergo, it's certainly not so far-fetched to think that eventually people will start to dress like their BFFs. Don’t believe us?

Well, for better or for worse, several celebrities over the years have provided ample proof that this old chestnut is true. And in these trying times, we certainly can't blame them -- there's no more economical shopping experience than a free spree through a pal's wardrobe.

Zoe Kravitz and Olivia Thirlby: The Girl from Juno That’s Not Ellen Page and the offspring of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet have been making the rounds – generally hand-in-hand – with great regularity since they were featured in Vogue’s “Shape Issue,” in which they discussed how very challenging it is to dress yourself when you’re teeny-tiny. The girls definitely share more than just a pants size: both lean toward slightly off-kilter, vintage-inspired looks that make it very easy for us to believe that they’re raiding one another’s closets. And it's a good thing they have each other, because seriously, how long could you tolerate having a wee BFF who couldn't stop cursing her adorable genes?

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie: You’re right. They don’t dress anything alike…anymore. And they’re not BFFs anymore, either. But before Paris and Nicole went their separate ways (both literally and stylistically), the girls looked like two peas in an incredibly trashy pod, with matching long blond extensions, shiny bright fabrics, and way too much spray-tanned skin on display. Luckily, the destruction of their relationship has lead to a remarkable rehabilitation of both of their styles. Paris adopted a faux-demure look (she’s not fooling us, for the record), and Nicole has been anointed the Princess of Boho. Here’s one instance when dumping the BFF turned out to be the best fashion move of all.

Paris Hilton and Britney Spears: This profound relationship lasted about two weeks (so, a year, in Paris Time) and happened during Britney's most public downward spiral. But while it lasted, they took the dress-alike thing to extremes, once venturing out of the house sharing same pair of fishnet tights -- Brit sporting one leg, and Paris in the other. We don't pretend to understand the physics of this, but we assume a garter belt, a pair of scissors, and a head injury were all involved.

Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston: The erstwhile Monica and Rachel have been BFFs since Friends was on the air, a neat example of life imitating art. And they tend to imitate each other, always sporting similar looks with clean, classic, flattering lines… that sometimes get a little bit boring. Still, it’s nice to have something you can rely on, be it your trusty LBD or your BFF. Make sure you have one of both.

BTW ... don't forget, there's a new episode of BFF airing today on MySpace! Be sure to check it out: http://myspace.com/bff
